Stanley Mocarsky Son of Mercy Schecterley and Stanley Mocarsky Born in Nescopeck, Pennsylvania On March 18, 1920 passed away in Nyack Hospital On April 29th, 2011.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stanley Mocarsky. Stanley lived in Detroit, MI. and Hartford, CT., before settling in Rockland County, NY for more than 50 years. At the time of his death he resided in Warwick, NY.
Stan was an avid angler, hunter, and wonderful photographer. He was a member of the Rockland Lodge NO. 723, F. & A.M, becoming Master in 1970. He was employed as a Machinist at Wilcox & Gibbs in Nyack for more than 30 years until the closing of the factory. Stan is predeceased by his parents Mercy and Stanley, and his brothers Earl and Karl. He is survived by his sister, Gloria Long of Virginia and his former wife Vivian of Wallkill NY. He is also survived by his children: Pamela D. Williams of New City, NY, Stanley P. Mocarsky of Warwick, NY, V. Christine Vanduynhoven and her spouse Anthony of Wallkill, NY, Stephen E. Mocarsky of Warwick, NY and David E. Mocarsky of South Nyack, NY.
Survived by his grandchildren: Frederick Williams and his wife Stacey of San Antonio, TX, Jeffrey Sweeney and his wife Alyce of Gardiner, NY, Joseph F. Williams of Valley Cottage, NY, Shannon Sweeney of Wallkill, NY, Shawna I. Williams of New City, NY, Brian D. Sweeney of Wallkill, NY and Christopher G. Williams of New City, NY.
Cremation will be private.
