Jack Todman, a former area-resident passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 31, 2020 surrounded by his beloved family. He was 70 years old. The son of the late John and Loretta Rogowski Todman, Jack was born on December 2, 1950 in Warwick, NY.
Jack attended and graduated from the Warwick Valley High School and SUNY Orange County Community College. A businessman and entrepreneur, Jack owned and operated many small businesses in both Pine Island and Warwick. The business was sold in July 2001 as Jack’s love for the ocean and walking on the beach drew him to South Carolina for retirement. After their move to the Carolina’s, Jack and his wife Vicky founded Corner Pocket Traders, making homemade crafts from old barn wood, pallet boards and lots of vintage items repurposing them into signs & crafts to sell at street fairs and different venues.
Jack enjoyed listening to music of all genres, especially rock-n-roll. Some of his favorites included the Rolling Stones and Grateful Dead bands. He loved spending time with his family and friends cooking up fancy meals, especially around the holidays and family gatherings. Jack also had a special love for his Springer Spaniels, Oreo and Cookie.
