Obituary of Joanne Santora

Napanoch, NY

Ms. Joanne Santora, a resident of Napanoch, NY passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023, at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh, NY. She was 59.

Joanne was a loving companion to Ralph Countryman. She was preceded in death by her beloved Father Joseph Santora and brother-in-law Vincent Cordi. Joanne is survived by her loving Mother Jaqueline Zwart and Stepfather, Don Zwart, her sisters Frances Cordi and Jacqueline Danzo, nephew Christopher Santora and his wife Myra, niece Christine Matos and her husband Greg as well as her great-nieces, Arabella and Olivia Santora, Eliana Matos.

Joanne was a devoted caretaker to both her domestic and stray cats. She was a lover of all animals throughout her life but was especially attached to the many cats she loved and nurtured over the years.

A memorial mass will be celebrated for Joanne on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick’s RC Church, 26 Hunter Street, Highland Mills, NY 10930.
