Dorothy Schneider, a resident of Monticello, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown NY. She was 77. The daughter of John and Josephine Gannon Schneider, Dorothy was born on November 24, 1946, in Suffern, New York.
Dorothy is survived by: Her significant other, Angelo Castelonia, her children, Ralph Champlain, Pamela Champlain, and Jason Champlain. Her Grandchildren John Champlain Jr., Victoria Champlain, Bridgett Broas, Cannon Routh, and Aiden Champlain., her sister Patsy Schneider and one brother.
Dorothy was predeceased by her six siblings, two sons- Robert Scott Schneider and John Champlain Sr.; one grandchild, Mackenzie Rose Broas, and one great-Grandchild, Charlie Maverick Broas
Cremation will be held privately. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions in Dorothy’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
