Mrs. Shirley L. McCarthy of Monticello, NY, a retired CPS worker with the Orange County Government passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at the Garnet Orange Regional Medical Center in Wallkill. She was 65. The daughter of the late Paul and June (Kanoff) Preston, Shirley was born on July 6, 1959 in Middletown.

Per her wishes, private cremation will be observed at the convenience of the family.
